School Advisory Council
The School Advisory Council (SAC) of Lee Middle School consists
of teachers, students, parents and other community members who are representative
of the ethnic, racial, and economic community served by our school. This
committee is an opportunity for all to work cooperatively in planning
our future at Lee Middle School. Together, we are empowered to choose
the direction that will best enable our students to succeed in the 21st
century. All parents are invited to participate; please join us in the
Media Center on the 1st Thursday of each month at 7:30p.m. Our meetings
and records are open to the public. Please review our School
Improvement Plan as well as the Bylaws
and come help us to make Lee Middle School a greater success. You

The next SAC meeting is October 16th.
Lee Middle School's PTSA (Parent, Teacher, Student Association) works
diligently and cooperatively with teachers, staff and parents to promote
the education, security and welfare of our students. Through our annual
fundraising, we are proud to be able to fund and support many programs
that enhance the educational experience of all of our children including
the Renaissance Student Recognition Program, the Student Newspaper, Share
Your Blessings, Teacher Projects and Staff Appreciation.
The PTSA meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 6:30pm,
or the second Thursday when in conflict with school breaks. Each meeting
includes a report from the principal as well as an update on all of the
PTSA activities. Attending the PTSA meetings is a good way to find out
how you can be involved in your child's education! This year, the meetings
will be immediately followed by the Lee SAC (School Advisory Committee)
