To be promoted to the next grade level students must do the following:

--Successfully pass at least 3 out of 4 academic subjects
(Students must re-take courses they fail even though they may be promoted)

--Successfully pass at least 1 out of 2 elective subjects

--Score at least a Level 2 on the FCAT Reading Test or qualify for one of the acceptable Exemptions

Middle School Principals voted that passing for all schools would be a "D" average or higher at the end of the year. For example, if a student received a D, F, F, D for the four 9 week grades, he/she would pass this course because it rounds to a "D" average.

A teacher/parent/guardian conference is suggested when a student receives academic grades that reflect concerns or a conduct grade of 2 or 3 is earned. Please call the guidance office to schedule a conference.
