Checklist of a Good Reader Reading Counts Software Using Scholastic's Reading Counts software is a school-wide initiative. This software is a reading motivation and management program that helps encourage and monitor independent reading. Students can be matched with appropriate literature, given reading goals, and acknowledged for their achievement in creative ways.
